John Brown, B.Sc.

Role in the Lab: Postgraduate Research Technician.  Among his many other pursuits, John enjoys playing piano and hanging out with his sister and his puppy.

Background & Interests: John earned a BS in Biology from UNC Chapel Hill. He plans to pursue a PhD in genetics in 2023. He is broadly interested in RNA Biology and epigenetics. His current project is focused on effects of histone H3.3 mutations on RNA processing and gene expression as organisms grow older.
